iPhone 4 – Apple Announces the New iPhone 4

Finally, Apple has announced the next iPhone officially that called the iPhone 4. The new phone is announced after the most successful handsets – iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS. It is the fourth generation iPhone of Apple. So, the gadget name is iPhone 4.

Apple iPhone 4 is announced at Apple's World Wide Developers Conference. It will run on OS 4. The Operative System is renamed as iOS 4. Apple has released over 100 new features also as part of their development SDK.

Microsoft's Bing has gotten a position of an alternative search engine in iOS 4 while Google remains the default. The iPhone 4 will be available from AT&T on June 24. Apple iPhone 4 will be available initially in US, France, Germany, UK and Japan. Apple will introduce iPhone 4 to 88 countries by September 2010. However, India is not in the list. Announcement of iPhone 4 in India has not been reveled yet.

Apple iPhone OS Revealed to Next Apple TV at Just $99

Within a month Apple announced next version of Apple TV after Google TV solution. The device will be directly based on the iPhone 4. It means it will get A4 CPU and a limited amount of flash storage -16GB. The device will be available at $99.

The new ATV has cloud-based storage. The next version of Apple TV came in light through Engadget online magazine about tech and gadget. According to the announcement, the next version will support Cloud storage with the iPhone OS and will retail for $99.

It is being said that the device will be based on the 4th generation iPhone. It would have A4 processor with 16GB of storage and 1080p HD output. It would be quite small as the 4th generation of iPhone.

The new ATV will come without touch screen and will have minimal ports - power and (HDMI?) video output.

Apple has been working on the next version of Apple TV for a long time. In the mid Google announced about its own TV. The device would have external storage devices that will be utilized like a Time Capsule to keep your data locally.

There is no announcement about AppStore or apps for the next Apple TV but it will have an iPhone OS 4.0 operating system.

Adobe Announced Officially To Launch Creative Suite 5 for Mac April 12

Recently, Adobe announced officially to launch creative suit 5 for Mac on 12th April, 2010. CS5 package for graphic, video and Web design professionals, including the debut of Photoshop for Mac as a 64-bit application, will be launched on April 12.

About the announcement of Adobe CS5, www.appleinsider.com, an online news portal about Apple, writes, “For the April 12 introduction, Adobe will begin accepting preorders and has scheduled a launch event for CS5 at 11 a.m. Eastern. The event will be streamed on AdobeTV, allowing users the ability to see the features of the product. It is then the company will also announce its price and details.”

Further the news portal writes, “Investors are said to be optimistic about Adobe's next quarter, as CS5 is expected to outperform its predecessor. CS5 for Mac will feature a new version of the Photoshop graphics editor rewritten in Apple's 64-bit object-oriented Cocoa framework. The Windows version of Photoshop went 64-bit in 2008 with CS4.”

In the analysis the news portal writes, “The latest beta of Lightroom 3 features improved performance, faster loading of images, and native tethered shooting support for select Nikon and Canon DSLR cameras.”

Apple iPad Wi-Fi Available in US on April 3 and Pre-Order on March 12

On 5th March, 2010 – Apple confirmed through a press release about iPad, “…iPad will be available in the US on Saturday, April 3, for Wi-Fi models and in late April for Wi-Fi + 3G models.” However, “All models of iPad will be available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK in late April.”

Further in the news, Apple confirms that from 12th March, 2010, US customers can pre-order both Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 3G models from Apple’s online store (store.apple.com). The device will be available on Apple retail store in the USA from 3rd April, 2010.

Steve Jobs who is the CEO of Apple said, “iPad is something completely new. We’re excited for customers to get their hands on this magical and revolutionary product and connect with their apps and content in a more intimate, intuitive and fun way than ever before.”

About the pricing and availability of the iPad, the press release says, “iPad will be available in Wi-Fi models on April 3 in the US for a suggested retail price of $499 for 16GB, $599 for 32GB, $699 for 64GB. The Wi-Fi + 3G models will be available in late April for a suggested retail price of $629 for 16GB, $729 for 32GB and $829 for 64GB.

iPad will be available in both Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 3G models in late April in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK. International pricing will be announced in April. iPad will ship in additional countries later this year.

The iBooks app for iPad including Apple’s iBookstore will be available as a free download from the App Store in the US on April 3, with additional countries added later this year.”
